Steve has in this time assembled time and time again hugely successful and proven specialised multi skilled project teams.

He has in-depth knowledge across all aspects of M&A, supplier management, service delivery & operations and continues to enhance his already strong reputation for building long-term relationships, developing teams and delivering complex strategic global change programmes. Steve has also lived and worked overseas and managed complex global organisations across multiple time zones.

Currently serving as an advisor and Non-Executive Director with a number of companies including Alevra (Pinsent Masons), building a new level of delivery excellence executing major technology and change programmes.

Previously Steve was appointed Interim CEO for Cheque & Credit Clearing Company (part of the UK’s National Payments infrastructure) in December 2015 to oversee and stabilize the operation and prepare the company for the delivery and introduction of the new digital Image Clearing System. Steve’s mandate encompassed rescuing the new programme and setting a new strategic agenda for the £multi-million Image Clearing System, overseeing a £billion operation, whilst delivering a new company-wide Target Operating model.

Prior to this he was appointed CEO/President of Access Prepaid Worldwide (APW), part of the MasterCard Group, in May 2012, to lead the Global Cards Programmes Management business. Responsible for integrating APW into MasterCard and rebuilding the business, its technology, operations, service and people, relocating to purpose-built Headquarters, whilst ensuring no impact to existing customers, and delivering a double-digit revenue growth year-on-year. This business remodelling was undertaken across the globe.

Steve joined Travelex as CTO in 2008, and was subsequently asked to combine his CTO role with the CIO role; he was responsible for all of Travelex’s global strategic programmes, operations and IT teams that underpinned Travelex’s foreign currency and payment services businesses, worldwide. Steve was ultimately responsible for leading the company’s strategic agenda across the Travelex global group, including the divestments of the Cards and Mobile Division and the Transactions Global Business Payments Division; jointly valued and successfully sold at circa £1bn.

Before joining Travelex, Steve led the merger of Voca and Link into VocaLink - the UK National Payments and ATM infrastructures. As COO, Steve revolutionised the UK Payments national infrastructure through the delivery of two new and innovative technology solutions – NewBacs and Faster Payments - a £trillion operation. Both programmes won multiple awards in the UK and internationally.

Following Equity Trust’s sale, Richard took a CFO role at Rivington Street Holdings plc where he rapidly restructured the business, delivered 30% overhead reductions and increased EBITDA by £1.5m within 12 months. Richard was then appointed interim CFO at Oakam Limited, and initiated improvements to finance and governance processes to enhance reporting accuracy, timeliness and oversight within 4 months.

Manj was instrumental in the definition of the Target Operating Model across the Bank; and the delivery and roll-out Bank’s payment solutions in line with the changing payment landscape in the UK.

Previously, Manj lead a strategic program to develop and launch the global Multi-Currency Purse product for Travelex’s Pre-Paid Card business. The programme involved working closely with MasterCard to specify and design the processing platform to process multi-currency purses on MasterCard’s existing infrastructure. Manj was responsible for the business architecture, integration and delivery of key components for the Travelex Card Payment platform. This was a 2 year programme, comprising of 11 projects and was budgeted at £15m. Based on the new platform, Multi-Currency Prepaid cards have been rolled-out to a number of countries including US, China, Korea, Japan and the UK, increasing pre-paid card sales by 19%. In 2011, Travelex sold the Pre-Paid Card business to MasterCard for £298m.

One of Manj’s key successes included his role at VocaLink, where he was instrumental in the design, architecture and delivery of the BACS 3-day direct debit/direct credit Payment Engine, the core of the UK’s critical national payments infrastructure, and one of the largest such systems in the world, processing over 90m payments, worth £33bn per day. The Payment Engine was part of a 4 year £100m technology transformation programme, rolled-out to all 12 UK Clearing Banks, 100,000 Service Users and was delivered on time and budget without loss or interruption to the BACS payment network.

Colin has been in the IT industry for nearly 40 years, in roles from systems developer to DBA to infrastructure architect; including working with major vendors to contribute to chip design, operating systems, virtual machines and application servers. Colin was around early enough to have contributed to industry ideas such as memory overcommit and as a result is even referenced on the patent for memory management.

With a degree from Queen Mary College, University of London on Aeronautical Engineering; which he put to use at Rolls Royce Aero Engines; he also obtained degrees covering IT and social sciences from where he joined Lloyds Banking Group. During this time Colin worked with IBM, Microsoft, Sun and Oracle on improving their products, and supported the UK critical infrastructure in times of crisis; here Colin learned the craft of Cyber Security by demoing hacking attacks and associated mitigations.

Colin has written or contributed to several books on IT architecture, infrastructure and system software development, and reverse engineering for Java application servers; along with the associated conference circuit as a speaker. More recently Colin has contributed to several magazine articles on cyber security on IPv6, critical infrastructure, reverse engineering, spoofing, and even how to attack the infrastructure within an aircraft. Colin has also consulted on several government security issues such as the Beijing Olympic identity management and scalability, and the missing Malaysian MH370 aircraft.

Colin spent 24 years at Lloyds Bank, with a special contract that allowed him to work on loan to vendors for part of the year for education purposes; ranging in roles from systems software developer, through DBA and solutions and infrastructure architect; ending up as the most senior Enterprise Architect for Technology consulting to the group board.

With stints at Travelex and MasterCard, transforming IT and delivering white-label eCommerce facilities; he moved on to spend 18 months as Principal Cyber Security Architect for Institutional Banking and Enterprise Architect for DevSecOps and CyberCrime.

Currently, Colin has moved to a similar Cyber Security role at Suncorp Bank; but is also working on predictive threat analysis systems and other ideas with security vendors.

Particular attention paid to touch points between on and off-shore resources and technologies to ensure seamless service delivery. Worked across 39 banking systems, associated interfaces, dependencies, function and relationship between the systems, roles and departments.

In Deutsche Bank he designed and delivered the entire process solution to deploy access control applications, Blade Logic and CyberArc, to control the access to data systems. With responsibility for overseeing a programme of works aimed at remediating points originating from an audit by the financial services regulator in Singapore (MAS) which was delivered 2 weeks ahead of schedule.
